Navajo Daily Word by Ray Swanson is a limited edition lithograph size 20″ x 27″ limited to 750 s/n prints. Old Navajo men gathered in groups telling the events of the day or week, happenings in their families or in the tribe. They were the newspapers of their time. When this was painted, the reservaions had no newspapers, computers or cell phones and these men kept up on the news and spread it rapidly, from group to group. The artist has captured the beauty of the old men and their clothing.
