Mid-Day Rest by Judy Burke Crowley is an original oil framed with a suede liner and brown burl wood frame overall framed size 27″x 16″. The original painting size is 22″ x 11″ depicting a young colt next to his mom who is taking a mid morning snooze as the sun shines through the tree leaves casting a soft light on the sand. Painted while the artist was in Chincoteague, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia, photographing the wild horses. You can see the water of the Chesapeake Bay in the background.
