A new image by Howard Terpning

Howard Terpning, known for his depictions of Native Americans in the West, has released a new image through The Greenwich Workshop, titled A New Beginning.  The image size is 33″ x 28″ and depicts a couple on horseback, with their pack horse, in a green wooded landscape.  There are only 55 signed and numbered canvases in the edition, very low for a Howard Terpning image.  The scene can mean many different things to the viewer.  Are they a newly married couple, are they traveling to a new part of the country or seeking to join a family member’s tribe?  There are numerous possibilities to this image.  You the viewer can tell the story that relates to you.

  1. I have a color photograph, 22 X 25 framed by Art Gore. Blue Background with marble bust and lantern. Also, a sketch of Mesa Verde by Tom Dooley. Are either of these worth anything?

    • Dear Ms. Goulet,
I am an authorized appraiser and charge for my services. If interested in an appraisal, send me photographs with measurements, how you acquired them – provenance – and whether framed or unframed. Thank you for your inquiry.
