The Staff at Art Gallery of the Rockies has years of experience designing and constructing framing for your art, photos, needlework, documents or whatever you want framed. Our designs enhance your image and draws the eye into the art. The framing does not overwhelm the art. We do not place tape on your art or photos but corner it with reinforced archival corners. If something has to be hinged, with your permission, we only use reversable archival hinges. We stretch needlework using archival materials. We also stretch canvas originals and reproductions. All of the custom framing is done in house so you don't have to worry about your art and treasures. It is stored in metal art drawers until it is ready to be placed in the framing. Mats: We only use archival mats which will not damage your art, etc. Frames: We use a wide variety of wood and metal frames from well known moulding suppliers. Glazing: We highly recommend Ultraviolet protection glass to protect certain types of art from UV light rays. Any type of light will eventually damage most paper art if not under a UV glass. We offer UV clear glass, UV Non Glare glass and Museum Reflection Free glass, which gives the appearance of no glass.  We also have regular glass in the above categories, if you prefer. For heavier framing, UV acrylic is recommended. For limited edition work, certificates, if issued, will be placed in an envelope on back of framing.  And we offer layaway without fees or interest.
